im predicting more upsets in the first few rounds of this songs tournament than we got for the albums one. it's definitely kelly for me here.

 

This one was ridiculously hard for me since I love both of these but I went with Since U Been Gone in the end

 

Ugh, this one's tough. I went August, because I genuinely would rather listen to it, but I think objectively Since U Been Gone is the more impressively written song.

 

Unsurprisingly, two great songs, but "Since U Been Gone" makes me want to belt it out in the car more than most songs.

Well, I like Taylor, so

 

Since U Been Gone is a classic, no doubt, but if I was being honest about which one I'd want to listen to for the rest of my life if I could only pick one, it'd very easily be august

 

Both fucking great songs but August just feels more special to me.

 

Good on you for making the question "Which Song Should Advance?" because that clarified my mind and it's obviously "Since U Been Gone". But why are these songs competing? They're decades apart...

I can't in good conscience vote for a song with a Dr. Luke writing credit, even if it's an all-time banger. "august" is also just a defter piece of songwriting. Taylor.
