A show about a 19th century lawman trying to understand 21st century rules versus a show about the food that remains when you make too much. What do you pick?
I tried to hate Justified for about a season but it wore me down. It is so gloriously stupid but it is committed to the genre tropes in such a fun way.
This is close, these shows are great for very different reasons. My heart is so strongly with Justified that it gets my vote even if The Leftovers is more consistent at what it does.
Justified is a really great show but I think The Leftovers is just more interesting and unique. Some fantastic moments in that show.
