I mean that as a rational person 7, not a normal reviewing site 7 when 7 really means 2.

 

Blue album is a 9.9. Subtracting .1 because I can’t logically call it perfect when it has a bside that would be top 5 on the album

 

Pinkerton is better, but Blue has absolutely been canonized at this point (probably 20+ years ago too). It’s an iconic rock record

I'm not trying to diminish the cultural impact of Weezer or the Blue album, but Sabbath arguably created metal. Who did Weezer influence that you couldn't argue was actually influenced by an earlier band?
