I put this on tonight on a whim, not knowing anything other than I heard it was supposed to be good - but uhh, I did not know I was about to listen to a virtuosic masterpiece. What can you even say about this.

deluxe version out on streaming tonight. includes all the vinyl exclusive tracks (including the alternate version of Dios Es Un Stalker)

 

I finally settled into my new place and got to spin this on vinyl for the first time. Sounds fantastic.

 

interesting that it's just the vinyl master, doesn't even include the new (streaming) version of Dios. glad to have both.

 

The vinyl version of Dios bothers me so much after listening to the streaming version 1000 times

 

i could take either version, tbh. i guess it's good both are on streaming so you can rearrange the sequence how you see fit.

this probably also means the vinyl is staying as is re: any changes, so i definitely need to pick up a copy soon. will see if any of the local shops have it when i move next week.

 

I'm happy to have the new songs but I thought the original streaming version is a pretty near perfect record, so I'm probably never going to reach for the new version.

 

of the other songs, Jeanne is probably the one that fits in the most. i like Focu 'Ranni, but could see the case for pulling it off. Novia Robot really breaks up the flow, even if it transitions nicely into La Rumba

i did too, i just never got around to adding the other tracks to my Apple Music
