It will I think next year... honestly I don't know how much I believe Warped won't be a thing next year either.

For those of you who've been to this tour already, have they been upgrading people on the lawn to seats?

Someone just offered me 2 free lawn tickets for the NJ show next weekend. Can't decide if I should take them or just pay the $30 for good seats.

I got comp seats in the seated section yesterday. Paid $20 for the PIT upgrade. I had an absolute blast. Here are some notes.

Crowd size was not awful, the "Festival" stage felt like the Monster Stage from Warped in terms of how it was handled. Of course the difference here is they were handing out free rockstar.

I missed the first two bands. Trophy Eyes cut two songs, John was losing his voice and made it clear to the audience after 1 song. Disappointing. MMF were great and had a solid crowd. Same for FYS although they were at the WORST time of day with the sun glaring heavily into the crowd. SWS closed the stage and had probably the best reaction overall. Very surprising.

Atreyu had a good crowd reaction, they put on a cool show but do absolutely nothing for me. TSSF was absolutwly fantastic and Parker sounded incredible. I'm used to them being bland and boring but Parker was definitely feeling it range wise yesterday, even adding extra octaves on some songs. They played 45 minutes, 13 songs, and 2 of them were new and possibly played for the first time live (Light Year/If I Fall).

I sat down for Circa, who were very colorful and elaborate with their setup. I did appreciate that this festival allowed bands to have more production value than Warped is able to accomodate. The Used were the clear headliner, even if i'm not super into them. Crowd was fantastic. They had a "veiled" setup and the lead singer spoke in like illogical poems in between songs. Weird.

The place cleared out before Thrice which was kinda sad. They still killed it and it was nice to end the day with them.

Festival Bands got 25/30 minutes. Atreyu was 40, TSSF/Circa/Used/Thrice all played 45.

I think 70+ fees was definitely a steep initial price but I meant plenty of people who openly admitted to paying that much. With that said, the PIT area was probably 1/3rd full the entire time (if that) which I preferred in terms of getting to dance and not feel cramped but it did feel weird having that much room at times. I'm glad I only had to buy the upgrade.

I would certainly go to a festival like this again, everything was well organized and honestly a crowd of 40-60% was excellent for the overall experience.

Yeah Thrice are closing out my show and it seems like everyone (on the venues Facebook comments at least) wanted The Used to instead. At my date, the main stage goes Meg & Dia, Circa Survive, The Used, Sum 41 and then Thrice

At my date it cleared out once the used was over. Thrice had a super small crowd. I have no idea why the used isnt just the main headliner

The Used is bigger than Sum 41? If I had to just take a guess I’d think Sum was the biggest band on this tour. I’d say Thrice is third, maybe fourth.

I would think so to. But because this is more a nostalgia emo tour and less a pop punk tour. The used would have the edge. Also sum 41 didn't play my date so I can't comment on crowd. But between thrice and the used. I would say the used is definitely the bigger draw

I think Sum 41 has had the higher highs in their career, but over time The Used retained more of their fanbase.

Typically when both bands come to my town, The Used will do this 3,000 capacity venue, and Sum 41 would do the 1,200 capacity club.

Right on. Before last month Sum hadn’t played Cleveland in forever and this was part of that small tour, it sold out fast. The only time I’ve seen The Used in the last nine years was Warped or night one of the two night album tour. Lol

Went to this on Saturday, and I was legitimately stunned by how many people left after The Used. It was probably half the crowd. I had no idea they were still so popular.

Thrice absolutely killed it though. Deeper Wells goes hard live.

I can't tell if you are serious, just like when the lead singer kept rambling.

oh no I'm dead serious, he started a "Punk Rock Circle Pit Shakespeare Soliloquy" thing at warped yesterday

He did that at the festival too. Weird. I was referring to his overall banter.

The Used is one of my favorite bands, but I'm tired of seeing them live for this reason

The Used always struck me as being one of those bands like Thrice that evolved themselves and not try to rely heavily on nostalgia. Kinda surprising to hear they play the same, older stuff

I thought it seemed weird how much Sum 41 have been downplayed through out the whole tour. Remember on warped tour 2016? They were the talk of the town. Kinda weird that they’re one of the opening main stage bands (like typically in the bottom half of the set times)

I think the hype from their “return” has just died down, that’s all. The warped thing essentially was their first tour back.

They’re also just not on quite a few of the dates, right? They didn’t play Charlotte.

It seems like the Idaho date is one of the only dates where Sum 41 is closing. I really don't know much about the market but I'm not surprised that they are closing that show since it seems like they're the band most people in this area would know
