I don’t wanna keep beating the same drum, but no one really knows how many people have to attend this to be a success. The bands could be getting a smaller guarantee because they play less. Therefor these venues may only need 3k-5k to make a lot of money off parking, concessions, and alcohol. A lot of these summer packages don’t necessarily even have to fill half to make a lot of money. These venues want events and they want reasons for people to come to the venue.

This is true too. These venues only get a couple months out of the year to operate so they just want to fill in as many gaps as possible. I worked at one of the venues this is hitting, and we’ve had shows like this. They will just staff low and still make a shit ton of money off booze.

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

I believe that is the price per ticket. It comes out to around $35 a piece after fees.

    Things have changed.

They wouldn't sell the entire venue if they didn't think they could fill most of it. They ALSO wouldn't be pricing the tickets like they originally did. If they were realistic, they wouldn't sell lawn, make the back sections GA, or even just sell the pit and front area. There are also smaller Live Nation-operated sheds in a ton of these markets with lower overhead that could also sustain a tour like this.

    The expectations are totally unreasonable.

Ended pulling the trigger on pit tickets for Tampa to me the lineup is worth the price but I still think the venues will be atleast half empty if not more

if all the headliners played a classic album, would that move tickets?

oh wow, now there are $20 "Summer Disrupt-ion" (before fees) tickets for the pit in West Palm. I paid $20 for the lawn a few weeks ago. Gonna call and try to get an upgrade

Not really because again, none of these bands are amphitheater bands or play bigger than 5,000 capacity rooms.

“Damn son, where’d you find this?”

I would disregard price and 100% go if Thrice played Artist In The Ambulance front to back

(I doubt that would ever happen, but a man can dream, right?)

Fun game, what album would everyone want the bands to play? Mine:

Thrice - Artist In The Ambulance
Atreyu - Death Grip on Yesterday or Long Live
Sum 41 - Chuck or Screaming Bloody Murder
    The Used - Artwork
Memphis May Fire - The Hollow

Those are the bands I'm going for and are familiar with.

Since Atreyu and Sum 41 aren't playing my date, I'd only be going for Thrice.

I think I'd be happy if Thrice played any of their albums all the way through. They all have some deep cuts that rarely get played that I'd be stoked on. I'd actually be least excited about Beggars despite it being one of my favorites, just because I've heard most if not all of that record live before.

Oh yeah, oh yeah, everything is terrible.

    Thrice - Vheissu
    Used - Self-Titled

It's the 15 year anniversary of Chuck this year, and in an interview Cone did say some of this years shows will have some Chuck tracks played, and we know they already have done this with their tour that just wrapped up!
