Really Real Dopamine Blow My Mind Sucker for Love It Don't Mean a Thing Talk to Me Sexistential Light Up Into the Sun
Only 9 songs is a little sad, probably gonna try to hold off on listening to the two new ones because of that, but otherwise hell yea
Dopamine was my first time listening to her solo stuff somehow and that led to me falling in love with the rest of the discography, this second single is fantastic too, sounds like a more polished Body Talk song edit: referring to “Talk To Me”, the title track I didn’t mean to listen to does NOT sound like Body Talk lol
Agreed, I kinda worked backwards after Dopamine came out and I ran through that one a few times, def got those vibes but through a modern lens
track lengths (per Spotify): 1. Really Real (3:34) 2. Dopamine (3:35) 3. Blow My Mind (2:57) 4. Sucker for Love (3:34) 5. It Don't Mean a Thing (3:06) 6. Talk to Me (3:19) 7. Sexistential (2:20) 8. Light Up (3:24) 9. Into the Sun (3:38) total runtime: 29:27 incredibly short album, but if it all sounds great, i won't be upset.
What the fuck, that's SO short? Seven year wait for not even 30 minutes of music but hopefully it's all top tier Robyn.
i'm never opposed to short/9 track albums if they all flow well. Honey was 9 tracks too, but it's over 10 minutes longer. maybe she's cutting out any filler, but at that length and with so much anticipation almost 8 years later, every second counts. i'm optimistic, but it would've been cool to have more.
i'm not worried either, i know they'll all be great songs. my comment was more about feeling satisfied with 9 tracks at under half an hour and whether or not it'll feel complete instead of too short, haha.
