I wish I could pin down what the beat on Between the Line reminds me of

 

Second listen washed away any of the reservations I initially had. This is brilliant.

Between The Lines is a fucking banger and I love the throwback simplicity of beach2k20, I'm surprised I like the back third the most, like she sounds great on every song but they don't have the same staying power as the iconic bangers it's unfair of me to think she can replicate

So Robyn has always been in my RADAR but I've never actually sat down and fully listened to her, I started to today

I was listening to this late last night and got really overwhelmed by how good it is.

 

So this album is uh... really something. It's like each song is competing for SOTY.

 

any tour dates yet?? i need to get my sad dancing on

 

I hope some come soon. I need to see her properly. I saw the "remix" performance that she was doing like 2 years ago and it was such a massive bummer.

 

I love that her inspiration for this record came from hearing DJ Koze - XTC in a club, god bless her

 

This album is getting me deeply into 90's house and dance music, so thank you Robyn.

This album rules. Human being is my fav.

Kinda funny how similar the hook of “ever again” is to Andrew WK’s song of the same name from earlier this year haha.
