yup it's a classic

 

Probably why I don't know it lol.

Still love this show so much and love where is heading

 

Tonight's episode was great, and I'm officially in love with Veronica

 

As if I wasn't sure Jughead is my favourite character

 

I just don't think there's any sexual chemistry with Jughead and Betty. That kiss was weird.

 

I think it would've been cool to keep Juggie asexual

 

If they were going to give him a love interest, they should've cast someone more dark and brooding.

 

The Betty/Jug relationship has always been one of my favourites in the comics, and in the world of the show, I totally buy it based on what we've seen in the last few episodes

 

A couple of thoughts: Everyone in this show is unbearably attractive, I love Jughead, and I'm still holding out hope for Beronica.

 

Could have sworn Spouse said Jughead was going to be relationship-less for awhile.....so this confused me

 

Even the parents, it's like the OC

 

My only slight issue with this show so far is the character reactions seem so inconsistent from episode to episode

 

I'm thinking Polly is going to confront her parents and Jason and Cheryl's family in the next episode now that she's escaped.

Very interested in seeing more of Jughead and his dad, and the backstory there. Skeet Ultich was an excellent casting choice there, been a fan of his since Jericho

 

What happened to the boards? I used to go on them back in the day. Have they shut down?

 

Yeah, IMDb decided to shut them down. I'm grateful that I got into Chorus or else I would have nowhere to go, really. For years, after watching any movie, I would go to the IMDb boards to see what people were saying. Huge bummer

I'm really hoping the murder mystery wraps up this season. I'm feeling like it's in danger of getting a little too convoluted. Preferably it wraps us soon and brings out a villain for the rest of the season.

 

I know this isn't the kind of show Riverdale is, but I wouldn't be opposed to season 2 being more of a monster of the week thing, in vein of S1/2 of Buffy (or, perhaps, Archie's Weird Mysteries). I love what they're doing now, and want them to keep doing it, but it's fun to dream

 

I could see short (like three episode) mystery arcs. I feel like they could have stretched out the playbook episode if they wanted too.

 

I'd like to see Sabrina show up too, her and Betty can be besties

 

Don't know how it would even be possible to do a full crossover but I just wanna see a Sonic the Hedgehog reference of any substance.

 

Any casting ideas?
