All the casting choices have been so great. The only characters I'm not quite sure about yet are Dilton and Moose honestly, but they haven't been given much so far
Didn't care at all for the slut-shaming episode, but this one got it back on track-- which is interesting because the TV critics gave it pretty middling marks.
Yeah, I think the third episode was the weakest. Felt like an something that would come in the middle of a second season, when they're not building any stories and just need a one-shot villain type episode. How do you guys feel about Luke Perry as Archie's dad? I've been getting the impression that he's taking the piss and I think it's awesome but my friend says he finds him surprisingly earnest
Aside from calling Jughead Suicide Squad, Reggie hasn't really done anything interesting, which is strange to me. I feel like he'll be given a lot more in the later episodes
I don't understand this reference haha. Since Chuck and Jason are out, maybe Reggie will take the mantle (Ha!) in the football team or at the very least gives Archie a good fight.
Oh man, she would have been a great Betty. I've been trying to decide on a good Betty for my fantasy Archie dream casting, and I think she just took the spot - right next to a young John Cusack as Jughead.
I'm glad they humanized Cheryl, Regina George needs the sad home life, and Veronica was great too I loved the "are you proposing a seance?" line and Jughead/Betty's relationship and Archie's music is going to suck isn't it
I hate like 75% of Archie's lines, they're always so corny. His whole bit about how he couldn't give a certain part of himself to being captain of the football team cause he needs to save it was so extra.
It was pretty fantastic to have a convenient, specific place to discuss literally any movie or TV show. Even if the discussion wasn't always the greatest, it was always reliable and a great place to go when following a show week to week. I missed out on Lost, but following the How I met Your Mother board for six years really made those last few seasons more tolerable
This show needs more Reggie. His rivalry with Archie was one of my favorite ongoing gags in the comics growing up. That and his relationship with Mr Lodge, but we likely won't see that play out in the show any time soon.
best episode yet wow Jughead calling them the Scooby gang Veronica calling Archie ginger Judas Polly! Josie and The Pussycats covering I Feel Love!
