Definitely. Massive props to Zach, but Chris brought a whole different level on those albums.

My dream is that one day they bring Chris back and go three guitars, like Foo Fighters.

But if I remember rightly, Chris' exit was partly to do with the band growing bigger than he was comfortable with. So I imagine he'll stick to Great Collapse.

Yeesh I could barely get through that new song. The entire thing sounded terrible...I'm guessing the studio version will be better but dang, what was that lol

Definitely seems like Tim/Zach were struggling with harmonies in that live video. I think that's the problem with the new song.

Yeah, that was pretty rough unfortunately.

Agreed, one of the great 3 album runs in any genre. And to progress from there into the album that (whilst not as strong) took that great run and elevated the band to true rock star heights is basically the dream outcome for any band.
I feel like they have since settled into a groove of being this generation's Bad Religion pumping out consistently good albums and maintaining their important messaging, even if every album will be considered, at best, their "best since (insert Sufferer or in BSD Religion's case, somewhat serendipitously, Suffer)". And that's absolutely fine, couldn't be happier for them.

The new song does not sound good live. Need to hear a studio version asap to fully judge

Not expecting RA to have the same energy as the early days but these shows were incredible:

I hope these smaller shows they bring the energy since they'll be closer to the crowd

Different setlist for night 2. They seem to be changing it for each night which is something new for them. Seems like those metro shows last year inspired them to finally change the set list and do something different each night

I like the day 1 setlist better but I do like the inclusion of Paper wings. I feel like the setlist is kind of short at 16 songs, I can't wait for the berkeley show though.

16 songs is the average set list for a rise show and has been for a long ass time.

Also it was only the 3rd time the black market was played and 2nd time whereabouts unknown was played

Just announced a Europe tour for Jan/Feb 2025 and no mention of a new album in the promo material.
