rpm turns 20 next year thats prolly what it has to do with. hopefully they are planning something and hopefully a tour has a chicago stop on it
Possibly controversial take: I'm not sure this band in 2022 can really do justice to an album like RPM with a full-on album tour. In terms of songs I haven't heard, I'd go for Black Masks and Gasoline (obviously) and Halfway There. They played Broken English on a tour once, that's a really nice deep cut.
It's no secret that Tim doesn't sound like his early 20s anymore. Perhaps one or two 20 anniversary shows would allow Tim not to wreck his voice and also do the album justice live like the old days.
That would be an awesome opportunity if so. Quite funny to think of the contrast between RA and blink lyrically though.
The guys still all must be sleeping cuz they haven’t posted shit on social media yet about the blink tour
I used to jam that album all the time. Just thrown it on for the first time in years and it still slaps. Anyone that loves the heavier side of RPM RA will love that album. Dressed To Fuck is a banger.
I remember Tim played Them's Fighting Words at an acoustic show a while back and got everyone excited. I will always give Romance of Helen Trent the occasional spin even if it's a bit too metalcore for my musical taste. Also didn't realise it was Matt Allison producing.
