Awake too long and Gentleman’s coup are being live debut tonight. Also bridges will be played for only the 2nd time ever. Solid set for the first night of the tour

This band always manages to bring out some deep cuts for the tour.

Awake Too Long is the most urgent song on TBM. I love it. I hope people turn out for this tour.

I'd be interested to get a read on their crowd sizes nowadays. I'd still go along because they are great love and their 2000s work stands up always. But are there many new fans coming along? Are their crowds as big as 10 years ago? I genuinely have no idea. Maybe there are hoards of Ricochet heads out there?

  5. Their June show nearby (Luxembourg) sold out in less than a day, same for the additional date. I assume they may be bigger in Europe these days

    The season is never over.

I don't want to turn this thread too political, but it would be a shame if they're bigger in Europe given the current political 'scape in the States. Bands like them are needed more than ever.

There’s a lot of dates on this current tour that are sold out or have low ticket warnings. Granted it’s mostly all the Canadian Dates. It’s also a b/c market tour in the us.

also umm… they’ve always been bigger overseas. They’ve had headliner slots at some of those fests.

Anecdotally I know that when Rocked (a YouTube rock music reviewer) put Ricochet on his Worst of 2025 list most of the comments section agreed with that decision. I think it's really cut through to their 'mainstream' fanbase.

As an experiment I looked up a venue from the current tour (Stage AE in Pittsburgh) and they played that in 2017 too. So dunno what has happened to their ticket prices/sales in the meantime, but they seem to be doing all right.

I doubt that. I think, in general, heavy guitar-led music in still bigger in UK/Europe than the US/Canada these days.

They are back in the studio

possibly recording ghost notes 2 or the 7 in split with alkaline trio or both

Those appear to be new lyrics in the 4th picture; the title looks like "Someone Should Do Something"

So my guess is it'll be for the 7" which will have one original and one cover each

I'm still curious what Alk3 song they're going to cover
