Wow that is a SERIOUSLY good setlist. Blood to Bleed, House on Fire, THIS IS LETTING GO, don't think I've heard Everchanging in person either. Was hoping for Collapse but can't have everything. Plus Re-Education is the opener they played the first time I saw them and I still think it's their best live opener so stoked to see they've brought it back.
Outside of this is letting go I’ve seen every song on that set list but would absolutely love to see this is letting go. Song holds a very special place to me and I need to see it live. Hopefully they have a USA tour booked for early next year and they play this set
The only downside is if they really only played the title track off the new album that's a bit of a bummer given this is meant to be the EU tour for it. Would have liked to hear one of the other singles at least.
Holy shit this owns. The Black Market isn’t my favorite record but there are some unquestionable bangers on it.
Dang, that’s crazy. I love that song. I would definitely want to hear it proper if I could. Although, the Acoustic version is good.
Wow now I’m bummed I’m missing them this upcoming week. Still surprised by the lack of songs from the album they’re literally touring but the amount of deep cuts they’re rotating makes up for it.
They have clearly listened to my complaints because they have added Forfeit to the acoustic section and last night they debuted Monarch And still found room for Paper Wings in the encore
Was feeling a bit annoyed that they dropped some songs from the setlist* until I learned Tim has been fighting a cold and honestly given the kind of music they play fair play to him for saying the show must go on. Also, I've given Zach shit in the past but he was basically spot on, both his guitar and backing vocals have improved a lot. I still would like the band to pick up another live guitarist/vocallist to take some of the burden off Tim but Zach is a lot better than he used to be. *Everchanging, Nowhere Generation and This Is Letting Go for my date.
I hope these end up being filmed because holy shit. Extraordinarily jealous of anyone in Chicago who can actually get to these.
