That song is apparently doing well for them. and yeah, this is definitely going to be at least a top 5 AOTY for me.
Not sure when Under the Knife became so popular but it makes me happy it seems to be a setlist staple now.
Saw them in Bham last night. First time and finally glad I got the chance after skipping on the last couple when they came through. Outdoor venue and perfect weather. Not sold out but decently filled. Came out of mosh retirement for several songs. Me at 35 living like I was 18 again. So fun. Absolutely other songs I would have traded out for some, but a fun set no matter. So glad I got to hear Survive.
Yeah I bruised a rib at the show. Hurt throughout the day today and then went for a run after work…….. that was reduced to a fast walk very quickly. Oof.
Live EP Nowhere Sessions out November 12 Features 3 songs from NG (Talking To Ourselves, Broken Dreams, Nowhere Generation), Savior and 2 covers (Fortunate Son, Hybrid Moments)
With the bonus tracks on the album release and now these, we should have just about a full album of "Nowhere Sessions" songs..right? I lost track so I may be wrong.
That Fortunate Son cover is pretty bad actually. Vocals sound way off and it sounds like he isn't even singing all the lyrics in many parts
The Nowhere Sessions EP just makes me wish the covers were studio quality The extended version of Savior is pretty good though
I mean they only played for like an hour 15 min. Chevelle played for an hour 10 and played 15 songs as well. It was a solid set. They didn’t play talking to ourselves collapse or the good left undone at either Chicago stop earlier this year
Also I would love it if they'd stick with Re-Education (Through Labor) as an opener, I think it's the best live opener from their catalogue and that's only partly because it's the one they used when I saw them for the first time. Prayer as an opener seems a bit odd haha
