I saw someone describe their new stuff as lifeless and uninspired, and that is exactly how it feels. This song is the best of what has been released so far to me and I am just not excited. There was a time where I loved everything that RA did and now this just feels meh.

It is truly shocking to me how bad these first three songs are. I thought Nowhere Generation was a very solid album with some absolute bangers on it, and these new songs feel so uninspired, and Tim's vocals in the mix just sound plain weird.

Give it All came on my Spotify after listening to these first three new songs, and I just thought, "wow, these guys used to have some real fire, and angst, and grit in their music." It feels like it's all just suddenly... gone.

It’s not hard to imagine this as one of Nickelback’s heavy songs.

At least the production makes more sense here.

I thought we were getting somewhere with The Black Market and Nowhere Generation.

I'll reserve my judgement until I get my hands on the whole thing but the singles aren't filling me much confidence.

End Game was the end of old Rise Against. Everything since then has been uninspired arena hard rock. My friends don't even want to go see them anymore cause half the set is going to be from those newer albums. I'm almost there....

Found this interesting about Tim's take on "Savior":
