Seems a bunch of fans have been getting letters from the band teasing that Ricochet will be the next single (probably with release date and album title).

Sounds like there’s a tease in the middle of this for Ricochet. It’s got a sick bass line

Here's to hoping the next single isn't as bad as the last

A sick bassline is pretty par for the course on a RA album. We just need the rest to be sick.

They're really dragging this out. I'm starting to think they know they have a dud on their hands.

What they are doing is doing nothing new. tons of artist/bands do this shit. There was 6 months between broken dreams inc and nowhere generation singles

  18. It feels more like a delay happened in the middle of the rollout because they started playing that one song live, then retired it not long after, and everything since etc

Fair enough but, was that album completed as far back as this one before the first single came out? I think this album was complete last summer. If that is correct, it was 6-7 months before Nod came out then another 4 before the second single and still no album announcement. If they announce the album along with the second single they'll probably have a June or July release and based on the tour schedule I'll bet July. At that point, they sat on a completed album for roughly a year before release. You'd think they would have released it before the current tour so, I suspect the label thinks it's a dud and wants to release it in the summer to bury it under a slew of other releases. Hope I'm wrong though.

They sat on nowhere generation for over a year cuz of Covid and it was originally 16 songs but they cut 5 for the ng 2 ep

Nod came out at the end of January. We are getting prizefighter this week so that’s 70 days. Also just cus the album info didn’t leak does not mean it’s not getting announced on Thursday.

they are on loma vista which also has some big names but I don’t think many are putting out new stuff this year.

There was def a delay. From everything I read and knew last year it was supposed to be out by the time the first single Actually dropped

or there was no delay and this was the plan all along. Play want it all a hand full of shows then stop and wait until the tours this year to play other new music

they did drop nod right before the tour did start so…

And Nowhere Generation Part II rollout was strange.

Remains to be seen if all the teasing around the word "ricochet" leads to anything.

All they did was tease the songs over like a week. Nothing strange there imo

Also I thing the only thing that’s gonna come from ricochet is the nod manifesto. Don’t think there’s anything more to it than that

The Nowhere Generation era will be a tough one to top. That was a much needed breath of fresh air and return to form for these guys.

They just announced that they're coming to my city for the first time in 15 years! I'm kind of selfishly not hoping for a new album before then. I want as many old songs in the setlist as possible. Especially those from Siren Song that they played late last year (Dancing for Rain and Paper Wings etc).

If it helps I don't think they ever play more than like 3-4 songs from the new album live.
