TMZ is reporting the emergency plane landing last week was due to an overdose - opiates aka heroin.

 

There are a lot of opiates that aren't heroin

Mi padre just called me to tell me that he read that Prince went to 4 different Walgreens in the same day to buy prescriptions. Might mean something, might not. We're bummed either way.

 

I know, but the report I heard had them insinuating heroin. Very well could have been something else. Regardless, unfortunate and sad if that's what killed him.

I can't even. I understand how addictive prescription pills are, been there, done that. But I remember being so scared that I called my doctor so she could take me off of them. I can't imagine what kind of pain he must have been in to need them so badly. It's heart breaking.

 

Bruce is one hell of a guy! I saw this on the Sunday Today show yesterday morning and cried.
