They took presale tickets off sale last week. Prolly will have another holiday presale in early December
I saw Wednesday last night in Chicago and they would be a great get for a midday (or early evening) set.
"Hymn" makes me think of Pennywise. But other than that... The word "telly" is interesting because British. Sex Pistols? I mean, the Get Up Kids... But other than that I'm struggling. Haha. This is a really good shout. This would make a ton of sense.
Saw someone on Instagram guessed Kaiser Chiefs. Fits a couple parts of the riddle and would be a cool get. They haven't played Chicago in over a decade. Also got an email at the same time as this announcement for a new Boys Life EP. Kansas City band that I'd love to see, though definitely not teaser/clue level.
I just spent the last 30 minutes trying to think of a song I knew with the word "telly" in it. And just now realized it was Weezer which... No. LOL
Looking at the clues from last year they pointed to mostly headliners and a few subs. Doesn't mean they won't change it up but... We should be thinking on the bigger end. "A trio or two... or three" - Blink-182, Green Day, Alkaline Trio "Reunion or two" - Sex Pistols, Rilo Kiley, Dance Hall Crashers, etc. The food stuff - Sex Pistols again but mostly it was just "Weird Al" "Rivers of gold" - The Pogues
“Parade on the Telly” = The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade = Macy’s Day Parade = GREEN DAY BACK FOR YEAR TWO
MCR crowd was a disaster but I would definitely go through it again to see tgem, especially for a full set at a festival price
And I feel like the "parade" part is way to obvious if it's actually them, almost feels like it's a misdirection. Edit Also "tomorrow's sales" is a reference to Black Friday. Black Parade? Maybe it is them?
I would only really be interested in MCR again if they were playing new music, otherwise I think it’s too soon to bring them back and not THAT exciting.
