Burning Airlines? Weird that they’re being billed as that instead of “J. Robbins plays Burning Airlines” like they have been
I need to process the lineup more, but overall I’m actually kind of underwhelmed this year. Aside from Tool, the headliners do nothing for me and the undercard is filled with a lot of “yeah I guess that’s cool” and not a lot of excitement (only exception being Sugar)
Morrissey should never have been booked. There are some solid undercard acts here like The Beths, Remember Sports, The Format, Algernon Cadwallader, Jejune, Bright Eyes…but a lot of it just feels a bit recycled or a bit meh overall. Also after the top 16 there still aren’t that many women on the lineup…like it’s very noticeable this year IMHO. Just not exactly what I was expecting based on how they were hyping it up.
Very underwhelming top line, even though I do really enjoy Alanis. Solid undercard, though. Santigold, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Macseal, Fleshwater, The Format, Bright Eyes, Iggy Pop and The Beths would be cool to catch.
Pretty intrigued by the fact that ALK3 and Bad Religion are on the lineup considering both played last year
Lineup might not be exactly what I was expecting, but I'm gonna have a great time regardless. Getting a three day pass is essentially as much as getting one ticket for a Tool concert anyway so this is more than worth the money.
