I am honestly expecting for the poster to drop and seeing Morrissey’s name on there. I don’t want that to happen, but I am bracing myself for the potential it does.

 

Morning, yall. Told my job I'm "expecting a call around 9:40 and will be off the floor for a half an hour", plus my boss quit yesterday, so we out here thriving.

 

Happy lineup day, got a block of calls from now until 10:00 which will certainly feel even longer than usual.

 

That's the best way, keeping you busy and distracted.

I remember in 2019 it was like 3 minutes before tickets went out to the aftershows and someone at work came to me with something. By the time he finished blabbering It was 10:05 and tickets for the Dashboard Confessional show were already sold out.

 

I unironically and earnestly love the energy of adults willing to make clients and co-workers wait for this silliness.

 

Doesn't really happen anymore these days.

Had a dream Creed was announced as one of the big acts, people were oddly very excited

 

I couldn’t see Creed playing Riot, but I could see people being stoked if they were on the lineup lol

 

Well they won’t be playing this year. They are in tinley in July

 

i used to run a DIY spot in my basement in the burbs in 2023-2025, primarily under-25s there. One band covered Higher by Creed. Then for the last song of their set they gave the option to the crowd of playing either their biggest single or Higher by Creed again. They overwhelmingly picked the Creed song, the kids would be stoked for Creed
