Riot Fest 2026 Tour • Page 13

  1. Doesn't seem like it would be, in my opinion (I've also never done it). Re-entry isn't terribly useful in the area, I tend to get there early enough to not have to wait in line for GA, and the extra vendors/food options aren't a draw for me. Better/less crowded restrooms, maybe, but not worth an extra $90 for me.

Deluxe is the only level I could warrant for what it includes but not for $1k each person.

    Well, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy

Anthony Green is teasing further CC activity, so I’d say they are likely for Riot too

I'd hope he'd do this only with everyone else and we're not getting a Chiodos-style reunion. Everything he's said in interviews implies he wouldn't but I trust no one.

There’s no way they don’t do Riot, Anthony has very explicitly said he tries to play riot as much as possible, so if they’re two states away that weekend I can’t see it not happening, and it’s not like riot wouldn’t want them

I’d also be extremely shocked if it wasn’t the whole band (or most of them at least)

Looks like Social D, Descendents and the Chats are a lock

Puts a bunch of acts into play, notably The Strokes as a headliner.

Pretty much expecting that we see the Prodigy and Wu-Tang too.

And I'll be real curious to see the Gorillaz tour dates for the fall.

Do you think this this makes Danny Elfman more likely?

Could also see Modest Mouse and Minus The Bear being in the mix

    That Shaky Knees lineup rips.

I would LOVE if Riot Fest got Gorillaz, Prodigy, Wu Tang, Wolf Alice, JEW, Coheed and Jet.

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

Comparing last year to this year, the crossover bands were IDLES, Lambrini Girls, Blink 182, Weird Al, and Soft Play.

The prodigy would have to be Friday then drive/fly to Atlanta to do shaky knees Saturday then drive to louisville Sunday for louder than life

I can't decide if overlap with this and LTL makes a band more or less likely to play Riot. It does seem like a lot to do all 3 in one weekend. If Strokes aren't at Lolla, then I definitely think they're going to do Riot (personally I hope not). Turnstile and Hot Mulligan I'm pretty sure will both be at Lolla this year.

There was more cross over between riot and skay knees. There where only like 2 bands that played ltl that played riot

I feel like it’s easier for the headliners and upper card to get there on back to back but some would be pretty unlikely.

Honestly think Danny Elfman is pretty unlikely at this point. Not impossible, but going back to back to back with that kind of travel makes less sense.

  18. Strokes feeling more likely (and therefore MCR less likely since I'd assume both would only be able to do Sunday).

I mainly want Coheed and Cartel for crossover (and JEW but I assume they're out based on the summer Chicago date and travel logistics).

For sure. I do think LTL has way more Riot-centric bands than usual this year though. So that might tip up a bit.

Leveraging logic over excitement, I find it pretty doubtful that any band would do all three... But it's certainly possible for bands to do two of the three.

So yeah, unfortunately, I'm now pretty much not sold on Elfman and the Prodigy. Not impossible but would be a fucking hustle that most would want to avoid. Haha.

  20. I think we can basically lock in Social Distortion based on their tour dates.

Strokes feel like the perfect size to headline Riot, whereas I am unsure if they would get top 4 billing at Lolla. I know they did in 2019 but they just don’t feel like a top 4 Lolla band anymore.

Most definitely! Also puts the Descendents and the Chats in play as well. It's been a few years since the Chats played and Descendents were off last year so... Not as likely as Social D. But definitely plausible!

I thought I was all done with Social D after the last time I saw them (pre-COVID) because they seemed so tired/bored. But from the footage I've seen over the last few years from KROQ fests to headliners to big outdoor festivals it seems like they're reinvigorated. Which is awesome to see - and now I can't wait to see them at least once in the fall.

Okay, now I'm trying to will a Social Distortion stage into existence with Flogging Molly, the Gaslight Anthem, HorrorPops or the Living End, Spiritual Cramp, and Catbite. Would be super super fun.

Is Hayley Williams solo big enough to be a headliner? I was thinking something like Hayley and Japanese Breakfast together (kinda like Foo and Turnstile) and then Hayley curates the rest of the stage or something. She may not be big enough so maybe sub headline for someone like No Doubt? Considering her Chicago shows sold out instantly with a lot of demand, I could see her coming back in the fall and playing Riot.
