Not necessarily. Travis had to miss some Dunes shows last year because Coheed was touring Australia. They could still play and just have a fill-in for him

Money. A co headliner with coheed was prolly a way better offer than whatever riot could offer them

 

I mean, of course. It just feels weird.

 

Technically TBS could fly out and play on Friday. Probably wouldn't be the worst logistical nightmare a band has gone through to play. But I'd rather see that slot go to a band who is good live.

 

They have shows Wednesday and Thursday. And aren’t playing more then 3 days in a row the whole tour so that’s highly unlikely and that turn around would fucking suck tbh

 

Ludo would be such a fun afternoon set, I hope it happens one of these days

 

Took a peek at Reddit today. Someone's saying that Koyo "hinted at being back in the fall" followed by a verbal "wink wink" at the end of their Knuckle Puck opening slot in Chicago this past weekend.

If they get them and Militarie Gun this year that'd be two really great lower-mid tier gets for me!

 

They might be those bands that start at a small stage and then gets upgraded to a bigger stage every year.

 

Smoking Popes and Lucy Dacus are both probably out due to Chicago dates in May. Bear Vs Shark is definitely out with a November tour date.

 

I would like to see Militarie Gun live so them being at Riot would be a-okay with me.

Maybe a bit off topic but has anyone ordered any merch from their site lately? I ordered a hoodie 10 days ago, so far it hasn't shipped (a label was created 2 days after the order but no movement on the tracking). The website says to give them up to 7 days to ship. I sent them an email on Friday asking to cancel my order and get a refund but haven't heard back. If I don't hear back by Wednesday I will do a chargeback on the card.

Looks like Bayside's 25th anniversary tour is a fall tour and on the east coast in late September. Hmmmmmm

 

Ooo I'd be down for double Bayside at Riot, especially if it means I don't have to go to HOB in return

 

One date is in late March at least.

 

That tour format is perfect for a fest set and aftershow.

 

"Worst logistical nightmare" definitely has to go to Oso Oso & Origami Angel in 2023...Riot Fest on September 15th, Tokyo with Hotelier on September 17th. That travel must've sucked lol

 

Update: Bayside's out. Playing HOB in April, plus on the east coast during Riot.
