Riot Fest week is next week. Looks like they're announcing some collaborations and the list of food vendors!
so i do think i can finally make it, but im only striving for Fri & Sat because after looking at the schedule long enough i decided that on sunday the only thing i truly care about is this chunk of the day... but its literally every band in the chunk, so knowing id have to miss a lot of them i decided its not worth staying a whole extra day. and dont get me wrong, i like bad religion idles and green day but for whatever reason just feel like the other 2 days have me way more hyped over all
My MG vs H2O was somewhat solved since I’ll be seeing them both at aftershows (if I make it on time) but I think H2O will be a much more fun set to watch at the festival
Probably going to skip MG altogether and get a little extra sleep, but want to make it in time for GWAR. MG's great but their fest sets aren't really THAT special and I've seen them do it three times in the last year.
This cluster is the one I'm most stoked about throughout the festival and would be stressing me out infinitely more if I hadn't seen the Popes do this album back in May and wasn't seeing the Ataris in October. Haha. So I fully get that vibe! ~10 minutes of the Popes while finishing up lunch, Pegboy until they finish the album, end of the Ataris, a few minutes of Lambrini Girls, then basking in the glory of DHC. The H2O "fest set" factor is definitely a big one for me. They were amazing at SFTS this past weekend... And got inarguably the biggest pop of all the openers. And they're also one of those bands that, when they have a pretty short set will cut out all the B.S. and play most of the songs twice as fast. Haha. In contrast to H2O, this is a really great point about Militarie Gun's festival set. Haha. I saw them at a fest here back in February. I do wonder how much gets switched up between now and September though if they drop another single... The decision would be easier if I knew I'd be able to make the MA date on the headlining run they've got coming up.
Bit the bullet & decided I’m flying in Blink and Weird Al clashing a little time wise Is gonna be a tough call
Any friends going for the weekend interested in splitting a locker? We'd just have my girlfriend and I's bags if anyone's interested.
Any guesses on who is playing this? 9/22/25 – Q101 Special Post-Riot Fest Pop-Up Show | Q101 | 101.1 WKQX | WKQX-FM also curious when we find out details of the anniversary after show
I can't see it being anyone doing an aftershow. Gotta be at least a somewhat big name - someone with their own font on the poster (top 3 lines). And then someone pushed on alt radio. It can't be: blink, alkaline trio, Weird Al or Knocked Loose since they all have tour dates. Could technically be Rilo Kiley or All Time Low but I'm not sure either fits the description. That leaves: IDLES, Jack White, Weezer or Green Day.
I don't think it necessarily needs to be a big name but I'd have to imagine that it's going to be a band on the festival with a song in rotation on Q101. Not sure who all falls under that category but could see it potentially being Militarie Gun or the Paradox too (though I'm not sure having either of those be a surprise would go over very well LOL; and I don't know that Q101 plays either - I just know they've been getting spins on stations across the country). I'm putting my money on Weezer.
Green Day was supposed to do the Q101 lounge last year but had to cancel and are one of the only Riot Fest bands they play, so I would love it to be them. But I very much doubt that is the case. They do pop ups with cubby bear sometimes but it is never as big as that.
My money is on Green Day to make up for the canceled lounge appearance also I don’t think we get the metro show information until week of i think weezer is the friday metro show
The Beach Boys have been cancelling a few upcoming shows , and there’s rumors Mike Love isn’t doing so well. Kinda wonder what’s gonna happen
Anyone use the Reggie's bus to leave Riot Fest? I'm debating trying that instead of doing the pink line this year. I'm confused on where the pick-up location is though, it says "Ogden and Sacramento near the high school"
I was hoping Every Time I Look For You would make the list, but this is super solid I fucked up not getting a ticket to the Palm Desert shows
One of the vendors posted an updated lineup that included local bands: La Rosa Noir, Romel Sims & the 21st Century, and New Clear Fusion. each one is slotted to open the rebel stage on a different day
