My top 3 for the whole weekend are Blink, Rilo and Knocked Loose. I just know I’m gonna have to miss at least one of those

    Mini leak

I was off on the makeup of the hardcore stage, and pleasantly surprised with minimal FRI conflicts

Where did you find this? Is it real?

Friday literally turned out best case scenario. I can make all of this work. I’m baffled.

Reddit says it came from the website, when I look at the site now, the pic is now the same outline but just full red, so maybe they put up an incorrect image briefly and then switched it out?

Holy shit, I’m absolutely shocked that I can actually see Rilo-KL-Blink without conflict!

Bummed I’ll have to miss Alkaline Trio but I’ve seen them plenty and haven’t seen Rilo in 20 years

Surprised Idles is playing right before Green Day and not Jawbreaker

Didn’t even get to think about the nightmare conflicts before a leak… Hah!

Friday left works out pretty okay for us! Only big conflict is Stiff Little Fingers and “Weird Al” really… Gonna rely on set lists to sort that one out. My fiancée loves SLF and has never seen them. And Al at Riot is a bucket list for me.

Gonna have to split that creatively but… At least Blink is uninterrupted!

Friday's pretty solid! I'll just go see Weird Al next month and see Knocked Loose at Riot.

Touche --> Harms Way --> Rico Nasty --> Rilo Kiley --> Knocked Loose --> Blink 182 is a killer first day in my book! Would love to see Shonen Knife, Big Ass Truck, and Mac Sabbath too but I need to conserve energy lol

Not gonna lie... I'm pretty impressed with how close I was for Friday. I didn't get them all exactly because some of the poster spots messed me up (e.g., assumed Rico Nasty was over Senses Fail) but I nailed 20/29 (68.9%) on the exact stage and within one time slot mostly.

Looking at Saturday and Sunday I doubt I have that same hit rate.

Also noticed Green Day has 1h45m set time, Weezer and Blink 182 each have 90 min

I was hoping for a full 2-hours from Green Day... But I'll take it. Hah.

I’m guessing that the rest of roots on Sunday that you can’t see goes DHC->Bad Religion -> Jawbreaker. If so, those stages are pretty much what we expected them to be, minus the curveball of Idles playing on Green Day’s stage.

That would make for a pretty great day, TBH! Only thing that opens me up for is Pegboy conflicting with like, Dance Hall Crashers which would just be a mega-bummer... But I'd get over it because DHC. Haha.

I've seen the Damned three times at various festivals over the years and each time they kill it. Granted, last time I saw them was pre-pandemic... A buddy of mine caught them last year and said they were great still (but he's a superfan so there's bias there).

Buzzcocks are fine. Great if you're into the songs, probably "whatever" if you aren't.

I haven't seen any of the other old heads live except Screeching Weasel... And it's a completely different band now. I'm sure Ben's still got it but I've heard the hired guns truly don't give a shit and it shows. Honestly, I would have preferred Riot went for the Methadones or a Dan Vapid-only Riverdales set. LOL

Not part of the 'old' punk crowd necessarily, but I saw the Smoking Popes a couple weeks back and they were the best I've ever seen them both while playing the songs and the banter between songs.

I’m pretty sure the first two on that stage are The Paradox and Pegboy.

Oh, fuck yes! That would make perfect sense and make the day much easier on me. Haha. Good lookin' out!

Well I’m just assuming DHC is on that stage because of the bands they listed in their post and it making sense. But who knows for sure until we see the schedule.

definitely looks most likely, my only objection is that would put DHC between Linda Linda’s & screeching weasel but if you zoom in, that block looks really short which means a really short set, and im hopin for more than 30 mins of DHC

I'm just now noticing how short it looks. I wonder if that's an error or something because when you look at the times on the Riot stage, you've got Zero Boys going from 1:05-1:55; the Linda Lindas going from 2:50-3:20; and then Screeching Weasel from 4:10-4:55.

So using that "five minute between stages" guideline, whoever is on between the Linda Lindas and Screeching Weasel would likely be going from 3:25-4:05 (40 minutes). I could see that slot being Lambrini Girls potentially with DHC being on after Screeching Weasel (given poster placement). Wonder if DHC or Bad Religion are actually going to be on a separate stage completely...

We'll know in less than two hours!

Harms Way, Agnostic Front and Hold Steady is brutal. Will probably try to catch some of each but I really want to see all of Separation Sunday

I've seen the Popes a lot and have mostly always thought they were just ok, but I agree last time was really great and easily the best I've seen them

I saw The Smoking Popes live once having never listened prior and I was honestly kinda blown away with how good they were/how much I enjoyed their set

Smoking Popes is so good and the fact that they're playing their best record only sweetens the pot

  24. I'm kind of indifferent about Smoking Popes in general, but I will agree that they're at the top of their game right now. Opening for The Get Up Kids last fall was easily the best I've ever seen them.
