    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

Definitely looks like Idles and Bad Religion are on Sunday

I’m going with Idles, Jawbreaker, Bad Religion as the top line on Sunday, but I’m probably wrong.

Edit: And I think it is All Time Low between the Sex Pistols and Beach Boys on Saturday.

The Sex Pistols on Saturday makes a ton of sense. Spread out the punk or whatever.

And holy shit. I realize that I keep saying this but... Green Day on the same stage as Jawbreaker would melt my heart. For real, for real.

I think Knocked Loose and The Pogues on Friday, on the 2nd line. Dropkick Murphys on Saturday, 2nd name on 2nd line

Okay. Time to start wildly guessing at stage designations... Need to sit on these a bit.

But at a glance? My Friday is gonna be relatively light, Saturday is a fucking minefield, and Sunday will have conflicts but fairly easy decisions between said-conflicts.

You don’t miss the chance to have Sex Pistols and Ramones sets on the same stage right? I would guess that The Damned and Buzzcocks are on the same stage as them too.

Sunday is a little busy and Saturday is a little light for me…

my fear of friday having blink unopposed (or mostly unopposed) with the other 3 big stage headliners (weird al, rilo kiley, and knocked loose) all at the same time is closer to fruition, would be brutal. (like the year mcr played which required alk3, bleachers and portugal all at the same time.... or when jawbreaker headlined and had MIA, prophets of rage and paramore all at the same time)

saturday line up of weezer, jack white, dropckick, and bouncing souls is all i need to get me in the door that day, fingers crossed dropkick doesnt overlap to hard with either headliner, but they always play at night it seems, so they probably will.

sunday is my least busy day, but the ones i want to see i REALLY want to see

That day is tripping me up because there's a few bands that could fit comfortably in a number of different spots. But I'm assuming one stage would be the Sex Pistols, the Damned, Buzzcocks, the Cribs, and Agent Orange. With another being the Dropkick Murphys, Bouncing Souls, Marky Ramone, H2O, and somebody else.

Honestly... Sex Pistols > Dropkick > Damned > Bouncing Souls > Buzzcocks > Marky Ramone > the Cribs > H2O > Agent Orange would work pretty nicely.

That is about the breakdown I would think too. And I would stay there pretty much the whole day with maybe a little detour for Militarie Gun and to take a quick peak at the Beach Boys train wreck.

Are there any new bands added to the lineup?

    Cant really tell

  17. Friday’s going to kill me, Saturday will probably be chill, Sunday will be fine as long as TWY and Texas don’t conflict.

im starting with designating all the stage headliners, the big 4 stages seem fairly easy, but Rebel will depend if they keep it as a 5th big stage or go back to it being smaller.
friday: blink, weird al, rilo kiley, knocked loose
saturday: wezer, jack white, sex pistols, dropkick
sunday: green day, idles, the academy is... 4th one is tricky, either bad religion or wonder years maybe?

curious if they go back to last years lay out with 2 sets of ping-ponging stages and 1 off on its own, or previous layouts of 1 set of ping-poning, and 3 each doing their own thing

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

28 bands on Friday, 28 bands on Saturday, 31 bands on Sunday. Didn't include Emo Phillips on Friday since just hosting a stage.

It would be nice if they went back to four "main stages" with Rebel being smaller. But I'm not convinced that's happening based on what they said about the stages last year (though it's hard to tell if that was them trying to save face over the whole "RiotLand" debacle; but they've also said that section is coming back this year).

For Sunday, I'm actually not sure that Bad Religion will be a stage-closer this year. I could see them being on the same stage as IDLES.

My top five for each day. Starting with #1 for each...

Friday: “Weird Al” Yankovic, Blink-182, Samiam, Alkaline Trio, and Touché Amoré

Saturday: The Bouncing Souls, the Damned, Militarie Gun, H2O, and a threeway tie between Agent Orange, Cliffdiver, and Superchunk LOL

Sunday: Dance Hall Crashers, Green Day, Pegboy, Screeching Weasel, and Jawbreaker

EDIT: It's fucking wild that Green Day isn't my #1 for their day. That's how stoked I am for DHC. Haha. Not that those two would overlap...

I could see Screeching Weasel be on Green Day’s stage. Also, Billie Joe has talked about opening for the Effigies being their first Chicago show. So it would be cool for them to be on the same stage. But I’m not completely convinced those two will be on the main stages.

FRIDAY: Touché Amore, Knocked Loose, Harrison Gordon, Senses Fail, Big Ass Truck

SATURDAY: Knuckle Puck, Free Throw, Agent Orange, H2O

SUNDAY: Jawbreaker, The Wonder Years, Microwave, Gym Class Heroes, Green Day

Sunday is too stacked. I could probably name another 5 bands on Sunday that I’d see over the last 3 bands I listed for Friday and Saturday. Look like it’s gonna be 2 chill days of floating and discovering new music and 1 day of running around frantically.

EDIT: I usually hate aftershows but in this case I’m praying for something like The Wonder Years/Microwave or Cobra Starship/Gym Class Heroes so I can see some other bands at the fest
