Green Day is the objectively better live band I’d say as a much bigger blink fan.

I’d never listened to Rilo Kiley, they rip though.

I know it’s what too earlier, but the lack of indie this year means next year will be super indie.

Yeah it’s a little disappointing to see. I was expecting Riot to take a lot of Pitchfork’s business this year and going forward. So maybe next year?

I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but if today is "album play day", is there any benefit to doing that a day after the lineup? I know it's calculated for hype but I can't imagine it makes that huge a difference

I wasn't expecting them to take much, maybe just 3-4. There's basically nothing here, though.

So yeah, as I said earlier in this thread - we need a replacement for Pitchfork.

I knew Green Day probaly wouldn’t do one but no Free Throw kinda hurts

  8. Okay if you'll allow it for a moment: fuck Screeching Weasel, I don't understand why people still care about that band.

Not getting the Green Day plays hurt. I can’t wait for the Hey-o festival set.

Definitely didn't think the Souls would do Summer Vacation again but I'm very here for that. Maybe I'll Catch Fire is a super cool one too

alkaline trio and bouncing souls are bands i dont really need to see album plays from, their discography is so deep and every album has bangers so it leaves a lot of favorites on the table. the trio album is only 35 mins so im sure they will cram more in as they prob play an hour, where as souls might get a couple extras

  13. Maybe I can get closer to the stage for The Academy Is... this time around.

None of these really do anything for me, except for The Academy Is.

Bouncing Souls playing Summer Vacation bumped them from a “would like to see” to a “must see” set. Helmet playing Betty is sick too. Same with Popes doing Destination Failure

If they end up on Friday with Blink 182 it would be a good reason for me to go

Mac from Superchunk posted the lineup on his Instagram this morning and specifically tagged the following bands in his post:

    Jawbreaker
    Rilo Kiley
    The Damned
    Sparks

Not sure if this is a hint that they’re all playing the same day, or if he’s just tagging bands he’s looking forward to seeing/playing with. But just something to note

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

Kind of assumed Weezer and Sex Pistols would do those records, but exciting regardless! Definitely want to try and catch Smoking Popes now since I can't go to the Born to Quit show in Michigan. Everything else isn't necessarily for me, but wouldn't sway me from seeing The Academy Is..., The Front Bottoms, The Bouncing Souls, or The Ataris. I'll give the Bad Religion and Screeching Weasel records a spin!

The Academy Is…, Knuckle Puck, and The Ataris are the ones I’m interested in.

Bad Religion doing an album play is cool because they’ll do the album and then probably so another complete set’s worth of songs lmao

I've got this sinking feeling that Knocked Loose is going to be closing a stage opposing the main headliner.
If that's the case I really hope they're against Green Day.
