Sunami and Bilmuri are out. Playing Lolla Not a lot of olverlap this year, I guess Ratboys and Hey, Nothing can be counted as out as well.
silly goose is also on lolla. dont know if that makes them out since they will play shows anywhere. i remember one year the band arizona did both maybe they will too
Wild to see Korn in the top line of a Lollapalooza lineup in 2025. They'd probably go over better to the Riot crowd, but still an awesome achievement for them.
Deftones as a potential headliner makes me think Limp Bizkit could be in play as a secondary band before them.
Well, I feel like your statement might still be true. Because I could see them doing another Pool Party if they aren’t playing any fest.
I think the lineup is gon be really strong this year given the lack of rock at Lolla and no pitchfork.
Blink certainly feels like a lock at this point. I think Mannequin Pussy will play too Edit: MP probably not unless they come play Sunday from Shaky Knees
Saturday gets a strong shrug from me (sans De La!) but that Sunday line-up absolutely rips. Blink-182, Sublime, Public Enemy, TV on the Radio, Spoon, and Mannequin Pussy would make for a really fun day if that were my local festival.
I think we’ll see more indie this year like we did last year especially since Pitchfork is gone. I still think since they are playing a bunch of festivals and have no Chicago date that Julien Baker and Torres are playing, and would fit in similarly to Waxahatchee last year
I haven’t gone to any of the Blink shows since Tom has been back, so I would be up for seeing them. And I have seen Green Day twice in the last 3 years. So personally I would probably be better served with Blink playing. But I really thought this would finally be the year for Green Day!
According to the latest Riot Fest email there's going to be more hints coming ahead of the line-up. I really wish there was some sort of schedule for this. Anyway... Blink playing this run of festivals makes them feel pretty likely to me. As does the fact that it's the 20th anniversary and they've played a few times in the past. Green Day isn't out of the running, but Blink feels more likely right now. Blink is playing Sunday at Shaky Knees so it would have to be Friday or Saturday. Green Day is wide open that weekend with the MD festival the following weekend.
I would hope for Green Day since they would be an exciting get and probably the biggest band Riot’s booked next to Foo Fighters. But I also wouldn’t be surprised if Blink ends up playing
