plan on making this my daughters first real concert. even though I have dragged her to street fests to see Chris Farren and Hot Snakes.
I would only want Sunny Day if they were touring on new music…they’ve been here four times since they reunited (Riot Fest, Metro after show, Metro again and then House of Blues) that, while still exciting to see live, is less exciting than the first few times they were here.
I’d rule Sunny Day out, tbh. Going from Denver, to Chicago and then to Montana seems tricky to pull off
Really funny that Riot Fest responded to a tweet asking about a Kill Hannah reunion the other day... So no Kill Hannah either. (Not that anybody should have ever expected that.)
Deftones announced a second leg of their tour today and the last date is 9/17 in Kansas City. Seems to be they’re more likely Also, Idles could be in
Deftones are at Shaky Knees on 9/19 and then LTL on 9/20. They don't seem to be into doing more than two shows in a row on these runs so I don't feel like they'll be on (and Kansas gives them a day off before Shaky Knees). I guess with it being the last date on the tour that could work (and they would honestly be a perfect Sunday headliner for RIot) but still... I'm not banking on it given the other two festival dates.
Idles and the Barbarians of California would both be really fun gets and also I’d say they’re likely to be on this year.
Idles NEEDS to play Riot, it's long overdue. I remember in 2018 they played Lincoln Hall the same day as Riot
