Primus also has a song named that and the last time they played was 2014

Don’t think it’s a clue. Sunday is Groundhog Day.

That can't be right, there's at least 3 more weeks of January

  5. Groundhog Fest: Same lineup as last year, no acknowledgement of that being weird.

My guess would be "Holiday In Mongolia" means The Hu are playing, "Lust for Lice" for Iggy Pop, and "God Save Caffeine" for The Sex Pistols reunion. Those last two seem a little too obvious, though. Not sure what the Ramones reference indicates unless Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg is back.

Wait. Could it be Weird Al?!! Those are all mostly things that could be food parody song names.

I’m hesitant to believe that they got The Replacements again… Unless maybe they got Paul for a solo set?

Good call that’s what it is for sure. Especially with how we already noted the gap in his tour

The Replacement was the first big reunion for Riot, so maybe they agreed to do a one-off for the 20th anniversary of the fest (wishful thinking)

    looks like 3 options
    -weird al
-all the OG bands whose songs are parodied
-a clue of another band based on the word that got changed (like mongolia -> HU)

hoping for weird al for sure (though not sure if ill be able to go this year, womp womp, might be first year i miss since 2014)

Weird Al has a Chicago date on June 29 but makes the most sense for the clue.

He does have that date but also has a gap in his tour in the Midwest right during Riot so it’s plausible for sure.

Might not be an either or thing here: the whole clue could be for Weird Al plus individual clues for other bands like the Hu, Sex Pistols, etc.

Al is also a different scenario compared to most artists as far as that goes. He's a draw regardless of whether he's playing that Ravinia show or not (because your average Riot-goer would probably not see him headline) and vice-versa.

That said, that show hasn't even gone on-sale yet... So who knows? It goes on-sale on 4/24 and is on 6/29 so I'd imagine they're expecting big demand.

And he has shows listed as TBA on 9/19 and 9/22 with a Michigan show on 9/17 which would add up...

Definitely not what I'd call a "lock" but it's trending in the right direction.
