As a metal guy, I'd be really bummed if Riot booked an additional metal headliner. I love having a few metal and hardcore acts to watch at Riot every year, but I'd get annoyed if all I had to see was metal bands.

With that stated, instead of booking Slayer every few years, Riot should really look into booking Megadeth at some point. At least it'll be a big 4 band that hasn't played yet, and is more accessible than Slayer.

 

I could go for some Killswitch Engage at Riot.

The tone of the video is so weird. If not for the specific dig at the Chicago Park District, I would have guessed that "RiotLand" was literally just going all in on the carnival theme again at Douglass.

 

So either they’re fucking us around or it’s legit.

I feel like you should have been upfront about the location prior to selling tickets? But maybe it’s still real close.
