Speaking of Rufio.. they came on my playlist yesterday and I was like.. that'd be an amazing out of nowhere reunion get for Riot

 

id settle for just scott solo covering some rufio songs.

 

Senses fail and saves the day are teasing a anniversary tour for let it unfold you and through being cool with the announcement being on the 21st

I could see both of them being on riot. Maybe we get the lineup on the 21st

They’ve done it twice

 

No.. They did play 2 albums but in the same set on Sunday and also played Metro on the Saturday night

 

Oh maybe that’s what I was thinking of

I guess Weezer also played two nights at Riot Toronto in 2015

 

Taking back Sunday did 2 days in 2015 but the 2nd day was a surprise set in the middle of the day

 

hence I said ‘likely’, and not ‘locks’..and also said ‘if they all hold true’.

 

To the absolute surprise of no one the Chicago rise against show is sold out already.

I know they won’t be on the riot lineup but it would be a nice surprise if they somehow end up showing up given how fast Chicago sold out

 

I'm just really hoping some of these are true.. and don't want anyone to jinx it lol.. apologies

 

Might be a bit chilly mid-October but they should have scheduled it outdoors. But Mt Joy seems to really like the place and might be 16OC's choice to close out the fairgrounds season.

I would say that makes them very likely. Pretty much would have to be Riot or Wicker Park Fest since most of the other Chicago fests have already been announced.

 

I want 3 Inches of Blood to play on the day Slayer is playing.

 

I have seen a few people suggest Alvvays for this year, which I thought was an odd suggestion because they fit the vibe way more at Pitchfork or Lolla (which they played at both last year) but then I found out they are Riot Fest alums and so I would love it if they played so I can see them one last time on this album touring cycle.

 

Don't worry, just stumbled upon my receipt for 2012 and cried a little.

yeah, my gut says this is the week, but this is just wishful thinking.

Waiting until after Memorial Day to drop the lineup (when people can generally get better deals on hotels/flights) would be asinine.
Even if there's an issue with one of the headliners.. just release it as a first wave and and the third headliner in the second wave.
