Local H has done Nirvana sets a few times around Halloween and sounded amazing, maybe that's how they finally get on Riot

 

Courtney Barnett and Bob Mould are out

 

James Mercer announced that a new Shins album is coming soon. I’d like to think they’ll tour this year. They’re one of those 2000’s j die bands I’m surprised hasn’t played Riot yet. Maybe they’re in play?

 

The Gaslight Anthem, Joyce Manor and Pinkshift are all out.

Leaves The Dirty Nil as an option.

Not sure if it’s a whole tour yet, but Pulp announced a show at the Hollywood Palladium Sept 18th. Pretty close to Riot season…

Posting this in here, but dont see much overlap with Riot

 

Thundercat would be cool at Riot, but yeah, definitely has more bearing on the Lolla lineup.

 

Not that they would play but parkway drive is out. Touring their home country during riot

 

Also takes out the Ghost Inside who have played in the past.

 

If The Killers are not on Lolla tomorrow I will be convinced they are playing Riot.

 

They have their own headliner anyways it’s in April/ may but still

 

Which still seems really weird to me.

 

Ugh not being able to go to Riot I would have killed for the NIL on that date
