Violent Femmes double album play spring tour doesn’t hit Chicago. That’s great news for us

 

American Football 9/27 and 28 at Thalia Hall for LP1 shows. They're out.

 

Tokyo Police Club announced final tour, and they have a chicago date 11/3 so they are out.

 

I love how this thread is a place I can go to and see what shows are announced just for Chicago

Right! They're the one band I've been wanting to finally see play there. Wonder if it was a time issue.

 

They played in 2019

 

Did they? Ha, I must not have gone that day.

 

Yeah, that set was not very good. Many technical issues, started super late, cut some songs and on top of everything it was raining.

 

I ate food and half listened to them from the soccer field. I think Thalia Hall is a much better environment to see them than a fest anyway.

 

I was watching the B-52s at the same time, it never rained... or maybe it did, years are a blur since the pandemic

 

I really regret seeing AF instead of B52s. Probs my biggest regret on mybyears going to Riot.

Pitchfork lineup is out:

Alanis, Carly, Jeff Rosenstock, Unwound and Mannequin Pussy are all out.

 

Carly Rae Jepsen is never playing Riot

 

Wilco is out. Two Salt Shed shows in June

 

Also never playing Riot Fest.

 

No St. Vincent on the P4k lineup means she's still theoretically in play for RF, right? 'Cause that'd be rad.

 

She is.

We're either waiting for a proper tour announcement (but that feels like it'll come for Winter dates) or she's playing Lolla or Riot Fest.
