It'd be odd if they repeated Blink and Killers headlining the same year I feel

 

That was Blink with Skiba - and 2017 seems like a million years ago, I guess we'll see in about 3 weeks lol

 

Something Corporate has a redacted tour date September 22

 

Something Corporate & Slayer on the same day - interesting how they will curate those stages

 

SoCo closing out Rise or Radicals makes sense. Can't imagine Slayer would be unopposed.

 

My guess is soco is 2/21 and the aftershow is 2/22

 

Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan are out (Outlaw Tour in Tinley 9/7). Don't know if anyone was tracking them as likely, but both would be interesting bookings.

 

Menzingers, Lucero, Dirty Nil summer tour skipping Chicago

 

All three of them on Riot, please.

 

Lucero is going to be at The Salt Shed in May, but I would love to have The Menzingers and The Dirty Nil on the lineup.

Not unheard of that they could be doing both but decreases the likelihood.

 

They're an opener on that Salt Shed show - not sure if it makes a difference but worth noting.

 

I'd almost rather a Ben Nichols solo set on our imaginary alt-country/acoustic stage LOL

 

Terrible year for me to not be able to go to Riot if Menz and the NIL are indeed playing. May have to go to Madison

 

I am getting more excited for this lineup by the week. Even if they don’t book anyone that I want to see more than SoCo, NoFX, and Sum 41, that is a pretty strong top three acts for me this year.

Sweet, DMB at Riot Fest!

 

I'd enjoy the Killers as a headliner. A handful of artists on there are obvious fits but I don't have strong feelings about any of them (AAR, 311, Sublime, The Darkness, The Hives). Switchfoot is a great live band, but not really Riot Fest's vibe. Same with Counting Crows and Guster.

Maybe this is finally the year 311 plays

 

Nothing earth shattering here but I'd love to see 311 and Sublime on the Riot bill. This makes me really think the Offspring are gonna finally pop on the festival again as a sub. The Killers would be a solid headliner for the festival but they're presence on the line-up wouldn't sway me one way or another...

And I'm not the only one who thinks the Darkness or the Hives would be a perfect way to close out Rebel one of the nights, right?

 

The Hives, yes. The Darkness, nah.

Would love some crossover with this. Gotta think Riot Fest asks Cap’n Jazz to play again as long as they’re open to doing shows.
