If it has to rain one day… Sunday’s the day for it to happen. So long as lightning stays away? Just bring a poncho and enjoy.
Damn at least Sunday is the worst day, but I still definitely need to see the op ivy set, fiddlehead and nofx
yeah late sunday is already gonna be a mess for me between soco, sublime and the last nofx show. i guess sunday is a poncho and shoes i dont mind ruining kinda day.
Last year it soaked everything so bad without there really being lightning to the point they had to wait hours to open.
No new bands. Just a revised schedule. Because of the change I’m now getting 4 full sets in return so I’m not that upset.
That change mostly works well for me. I can show up a little later and still catch Liquid Mike, and no more D4/Basement conflict. I was just going to see a few Pavement songs before heading over to Bright Eyes anyway, so a different conflict there doesn't sting too much.
This opens up Manchester Orchestra for me (sorry, Sincere) but means if I watch all of Basement which is a huge priority, I lose out on half of St Vincent which is a bummerrrr
Schedule change does not affect me, except for I was looking forward to listening to clutch while I waited between the armed and sincere engineer
They should have added MJ Lenderman to replace Bright Eyes, he’s already going to be there with Waxahatchee, having a breakout year, and both his Chicago shows at Thalia Hall are already sold out.
Is he confirmed as playing with her on these dates? Edit: I don't think he will be joining her, Americana Fest seems to be a one off.
Here we go! Leaning towards just staying at the main stages for Offspring to get a good spot for FOB, but that’s still a game time decision. Wearing a black Signals Midwest shirt and blue Swellers backpack, say hi if you see me!
Wasn’t planning on going this year and was kinda bummed about it. Saw their email contest last night about winning last second tickets. Replied to it 30 minutes before the contest ended. Got the tickets. bout to start my drive. See you all there!
Last night at the NFG show I was stressing about how bad my back will feel today but they were so good that I realized I forgot how good the music is going to be. I have a full day of sets and then I am going to the Basement aftershow. Going to be rough but fun. At least I don't have to walk a lot form one side of the park to the other, that will surely help. Planning on skipping Hot Mulligan to get a late lunch. Stopping at Walmart on the way to get some ponchos lol. These were lifesavers the past few years. Have fun, everybody! Drink a lot of water and stay safe.
