Bad Religion and Social Distortion are out. Co-headliner hitting Chicago in May EDIT: I got beat to this by seconds lmao
Punk Rock Bowling lineup is dropping at 10 pst - there usually is a few bands that crossover for Riot each year (Interrupters & Fea last year)
Awesome seeing Catbite, Bad Cop/Bad Cop, and Vial in the mix! This is a really, really fun line-up. I always still just really struggle with the set lengths for this one. With the exception of the headliner and the subheadliner they're always super short (30-35 minutes).
No Chicago area dates on Wheatus next tour - they'd be an awesome lower/mid tier addition Social D are officially out - they have dates on the West Coast during Riot
I don't know why Furnace Fest is, but aren't a few Chicago fests moving a week back next year - I could be remembering wrong Since the headliners weren't leaked before presale like last year, maybe it won't be such a clusterfuck - fingers crossed lol
Wonder if all the Chicago fests will be a week later then normal next year or if it’s just a riot fest thing
Not that we'll probably ever know, but I'm so curious if the dates really did change because of Mexican Independence Day, or because Labor Day is early next year, or they got a great headliner that could only do a certain day. Regardless, excited to get my early bird ticket tomorrow.
It was a nightmare dealing with that this year. Usually takes me 40 min to get home. Took me over an hour and a half both days I went this year. I didn’t go Sunday. So I’m happy they moved it
I thought the new dates would conflict with my cousins wedding I have next year, but their wedding is the week after, so that’s nice!
It looks to solely be the calendar. They’re the third full weekend in September every year. The month starting on Saturday pushes all of that back.
They've done Sept 13-15 in 2013 & 2019, which would have been the same date for next year. It's never been this late in September since becoming an outdoor festival... the mystery remains
