Yeah I always expected them to happen as well but certain people in here where unsure but with all the new shuttle info it confirms they are indeed happening
I don't know why people would think that. Probably plays a part in the scheduling of acts and why we don't have single day lineups yet but it's a great way to recapture some of the lost income from people who decided to not go once the move to Seatgeek was announced.
Kinda cool that we get a sense of the venues now too. Officially hoping for a Sunday aftershow from the Lawrence Arms, Catbite, Dillinger Four, ALL, or Drug Church!
Yeah, aftershows probably at Concord, Metro, Sleeping Village, Cobra Lounge, maybe Thalia Hall, Reggie's.
Assuming NOFX will be closing every night I don't think it'll be feasible for me to do aftershows but I would like to
Ya the shuttles are in convenient spots, and it’s nice (even if expected) they are doing them, but idk if I want to spend $95 and sit in a shuttle bus going to and from the city stuck in traffic I like quite a bit of this lineup but every day I am leaning more and more towards skipping, especially if there are good aftershows I can hit up instead
Yeah if I'm going with a group it will be way cheaper for us to just split an uber than take the shuttles is my thought
A Laura Jane Grace and Catbite aftershow would make a ton of sense with them both playing the festival but not playing their own songs.
So if I am reading correctly, if you get on a shuttle bus at 8 PM, it won't leave unless full? So you could hypothetically just be sitting on a bus for an hour or however long until it fills up?
Can't wait to see the breakdown when I land in Australia at 10pm tomorrow night / 8am on Thursday morning. LOL
I’m currently on a trip as well and now I know that my plane ride home will be lit cuz I get to make a mock schedule
I have a 12 hour flight coming up and I'm bringing my work laptop and Power BI along for it... I have to go over Riot Fest and Furnace Fest so that will take a nice chunk out of the flight.
The cool thing is that we will pretty much have the schedule for one of the stages tomorrow (and it just happens to be the stage I’m most excited for).
Somehow they managed to pack almost all the bands I want to see into Friday but the 2 I want to see the most are on Saturday and Sunday... Hoping that they add SoCo and Basement aftershows because then I can just do Friday and forget about the rest
Happy to know my top two priorities (Waxahatchee and SoCo) won't conflict. Guessing Hot Mulligan will be on the main stage with FOB. Curious if NFG, State Champs, and Action/Adventure are there too.
Schedule looks pretty good for me at first glance! The last couple years we've opted relax and watch the noon football games on Sunday before heading to the fest and it seems like it'll work out to do that again this year (bummed about likely missing Sunami, but they're hitting MN a couple weeks later so it's all good).
