You're right. After fees, pre-tax, the 3 day pass ends up being like $2 cheaper.

 

Two weird things I realized:

1. Mastodon is doing an album play but not Lamb Of God?

2. I for sure thought The Jesus Lizard were a lock. Guess not!

 

I think they're just spelling out RIOT FEST

 

Was just about to wonder about the Jesus Lizard not being on there. Thought them and Bad Religion were really likely. Same with Thrice.

 

Couple more notes:

1. Not sure if Polaris is the metalcore band or the Pete & Pete band

2. ALL playing is great

3. The Defiant playing is not great

 

There is a U a C and a K in there tho, so maybe Riot Fest Sucks

 

Thought saosin was supposed to be a lock too

 

So is New Found Glory not playing Catalyst?

 

for a second there i got extremely hyped and thought we were getting the first show from the new jesse/tim collab, but then i realized thats doom regulator, and not doomscroll... too many bands sharing words in their names, lol

 

Yeah this is incredible all around for me, I keep finding stuff that excites me

 

I never thought Waxahatchee would play because her sound now does not fit the Riot Fest vibe but I’m really stoked she’s playing. Maybe they’ll have like an Americana-ish stage because Slaughter Beach, Dog is basically an Americana band.

 

Saosin w/ Cove and also LS Dunes there would feel real weird imo

 

bad religion just did 2 shows here maybe thats why they arent playing

 

I keep looking at the lineup and loving it more and more. A LOT of artists to dig into for the next few months that I haven't really dug into much before.

 

They both are playing WWWY

 

Program them both before Bright Eyes and that's a stage I'll hang out at most of the day.

 

Bummed home grown isn’t gonna be there.

The only band playing that I’ve never seen that I would like to see is something corporate, but I’m hoping they just play an aftershow so I don’t have to go to the actual fest

 

It's happening at Furnace Fest on the same day, so why not?

 

Sir Chloe is really cool undercard act playing. This song blew up on TikTok during the pandemic but all of her music is solid.

It’s not their best lineup at all but I think it’s their most fun and diverse. They’re checking a lot of boxes this year. That playlist is gonna sound bananas. The Armed into Waxa into The Lawrence Arms into Public enemy is what make Riot Fest special.

 

I remember hearing this at some point. Gonna check out the rest of her stuff!
