This kind of reminds me of that one festival in Austin that held their fest at an abandoned renaissance fair or something like that. Does that ring a bell to anyone? All I remember was that it was put on by the team that did FunFunFun Fest
Fair enough, I just put in Google Maps Chicago to Hampshire (it is what it says in the link of the tweet) and it showed 1hr from downtown Chicago, but to be honest Im not familiar with the Northwest side of Illinois.
That grainy picture just looks like one of those landmark mashup illustrations. More of a "we love Chicago" thing than a hint.
Why not?? It’s currently a giant field and the public transportation stuff is gonna be done this year
Oddly enough, SeatGeek has some viability. There’s no game at all that weekend at Soldier Field and they can always move a Red Stars game there.
I mean I came across it, I could have not posted it in here. Wasn’t sure if anyone would recognize the layout.
SeatGeek doesn’t have a steady cash flow. If they could arrange a multi year deal, SeatGeek would do everything in their power to move that game. There’s a lot of bodies buried in that stadium behind the scenes. Anything is possible.
Nah, even though it’s an open weekend it’d only be in the parking lots. Sodfather hates shit happening on the field.
The white Sox schedule wouldn’t allow it. They have a home game the Tuesday after riot ends and have a home stand when setup would need to start
Just please god not Bridgeview. Elgin area would be ok for me actually but still a bummer. But I really hope it stays in the city
