Considering the one-off shows on the west and east coast, I was under the impression that Riot would be their Midwest show of the year, then do a tour next year
Yeah all signs pointed to Paramore being on Lolla...so Riot would have had no reason to ever book them, and then whatever happened happened and they added that Milwaukee show.
Yes, still on the calendar. https://www.elkgrove.org/community/mid-summer-classics-concert-series#ad-image-0
Ideally both. Sting could be the anti-CM Punk. Screw Riot Pop, make Faygo the official drink if Violent J plays.
I’m with you on this. I don’t see Paramore being picked up by Riot after whatever happened happened. I would love to learn what changed as they are booked on other Livenation festivals but then fell off Lolla while booking that Milwaukee show immediately after…
I'm curious as to which "current" band Riot will book as a headliner? Unless Riot decided to book three legacy headliners this year.
I think I think DeathCab/Postal are going to be co-headliners, I have no clue what the other band is though.. maybe Blur or Pavement or the likes, I just don't see them putting somebody like Rancid in between on the main stage unless the booked band falls out (ie Gogol replacing Bauhaus last year before Misfits) There's only so many bands you can put as a headliner for Riot, so I don't think I'll be shocked but I have ZERO CLUE who it will end up being
If the 90/90 clause is true, they fall right on 90 days if they play Riot on Friday. It's definitely possible.
Ha, had no idea that the AAR show in EG is actually Rotary Fest… That makes it even more fucking funny to me. That’s where I went to high school.
I don't think Wrigley will be sold out by the time the lineup gets announced, unless they wait until after which would be fucking brutal LOL
