Free Throw playing a last minute show tonight is tempting but it will likely be difficult to get me out of the house since I committed to today being a not going to the fest chill lazy day haha
Just got in the park to help my friends booth and there are a few big puddles but over not terrible, though havent been everywhere yet.
Hoping everybody's safe out there, relatively dry, and able to enjoy the rest of the day! Fingers-crossed that the schedule shifts don't fuck things up with conflicts for you all!
I had so many conflicts later in the day so I am praying that the new schedule improves those somehow.
Kind of silly how long it’s taking to get an updated schedule now when we know there’s been a hard cut.
Sitting in my car at this parking garage waiting to see if the schedule is worth it for me before I turn tail and head home, potentially
"Next year" sounds very optimistic on their... During the 2 days at RF this year something in my head kept telling me "enjoy it while you can". I know that every year there has been countless debates about the fest being in that neighborhood but it does feel like this year they dodged that bullet and that might not be something they will be able to do next year. Perhaps like every year this thread will be filled with the familiar question: "Is RF happening this year???"
They have several places in mind if they have to move again. It was brought up in that interview with riot mike I shared
Honestly, the first thing that came to my mind with the flooding today is that its "ammunition" for people to come out and say the festival-goers "ruin" the park. Hopefully RF stays ahead of it and does an impeccable, and well-documented clean up job (i.e., leaves it looking better than when they showed up).
They’re trying their best to remind people to be courteous to the neighborhood but people are pissed in line.
