I had a nice time watching that from the shade. 10/10 start to the day

What are the odds being able to find a ticket at like 6pm or something for tonight?

Wife had a little medical thing and we had to head out real early today unfortunately.

She might be good to come back later, we were really looking forward to Foos and Turnstile. Just not sure how realistic that might be.

Damn Parliment sounds exhausting from Rebel. Not complaining, just impressed!

Great day: crowd for turnstile were bonkshit, Foos were fun as always, screaming females ripped, and interrupters, Olivia Jean, code orange and yard act were each a party. Listened to ani d & p funk from the shade

Had a great time for the vast majority of the day, and then made the dumb mistake of leaving my buddy by the Foo while I went to Turnstile. I thought it wasn’t even close to the front but by the time I got back I couldn’t locate him and the area was a zoo. Ended up staying three songs got too claustrophobic and worried about how long it would take to get out and left. And then my divvy broke down basically halfway lol

I am leaving after PUP tomorrow so should be a much less stressful day. I think I’ve learned I can’t stay for headliners here. Too much to think about

Sometimes you roll the dice with parking in a cash lot down the road and someone smashes your window in. Thems the brakes, baby.

Foo had an absolutely massive crowd

  18. I think I watched Foo Fighters from further back than MCR. They sounded great though. I left a little earlier than I really wanted to in order to beat the rush to the trains but I had no trouble getting home. Curious how the crowd numbers compare to last year.

Solid day overall, despite having basically no cell service after 4:00 and realizing during FF that I hadn’t sat down all day. My legs are paying for that now.

    Damn, that sucks man.

  19. I was thinking about this yesterday too. They’ve booked a lot of headliners I actually want to see in the past three years so I’ve been staying later than I ever did pre-pandemic, and this fest is just way more fun before dark.

I wanted to stay til the end but tapped out after Bayside. These long days are too much for me.

Great first day. Hawthorne heights were fine, as everyone says WAY too much talking. They only played two songs from SIBAW but whatevs.
Parliament was great so fun. Oso Oso ripped it.
I’ve never been a huge fan of Silverstein but they busted out a cover of “One Step Closer” by Linkin Park that was great. Bayside were great and so were Say anything.
Turnstile was kind of a letdown. When they went, they WENT. But there was so much noodling and fucking around that it was hard to get in a groove. Granted I was far back so I’m sure it was intense down close but I was just kind let down because I was really looking forward to it.

Code Orange and The Interrupters were my favorite acts from yesterday. Say Anything was great too and the Foos played a great set, Im surprised they didnt play a song from their newest albim.

Today schedule is really busy for me. I will be wearing a grey QOTSA shirt from Riot 2017 or a black Boygenius hoodie. And my red/white Bucees cap of course

Also, word to the wise, bring cash. The stand I got dinner has a $5 credit card charge (!) I always have cash at these but just spreading the word.

  24. Wearing a black Limbeck shirt or Yellowcard hoodie today. Looks like a cloudy day, which will be nice.

Is the set list posted online or did foo not play a single song off the new album?
