I know it was talked about in this thread earlier. Atom confirmed he won’t be playing with PLOSIVS at Riot as well as their fall shows
The Exploited have cancelled their tour https://www.facebook.com/1000919103...MqgJBMwYfdpt6SYgR2tAb6dBpnul/?mibextid=cr9u03
Bummer that its for a medical reason; hope everything works out okay. But this is one of those cancellations that has a very real shot at improving the line-up with a similar but more modern/less shitty punk or hardcore band.
Jokes aside, I’m actually surprised Riot still hasn’t booked them Also, not kidding, they should allow Faygo in just this year
Where is our friendly neighborhood weather pattern tracker person, and is it too late to start speculation about that?
Seems like the highs will be in the low 70s with the lows being in the low 60s high 50s all weekend and there’s a 24% chance of rain Friday and Saturday
Taylor Acorn is really cool. Assuming she just gets Cassyette’s spot, that’ll be a fun way to start Saturday (with the downside of missing Pool Kids, of course).
Schedule staying the same I assume? I gotta re-download the one on the website since it's different already, wonder if it'll change again
I don't expect much to change but yeah I'm assuming they'll officially announce everything and change it on the site once the new schedules are finalized They may even try to fix the issues with all the conflicts Sunday, but not holding my breathe.
If they can somehow change something with TSOL to make High Vis and White Reaper not at the same time that would be great
White Reaper and High Vis were my top two. Adding TSOL is now my top 3. I can’t live with this conflict.
That's such a bummer of a conflict! I would suggest going for T.S.O.L. because they aren't anywhere near as active as they used to be but High Vis aren't always going to be stateside either. Has anybody else here ever used a "current setlist" method for determining when to split a set? Or am I the only nerd whose taken this on? For example, with T.S.O.L. it's safe to assume that certain songs will be in the middle of the set while others will be toward the end (e.g., Dance With Me, Code Blue, and Wash Away). And for White Reaper and High Vis they're recent "opening" set lists might be a decent example of when things might land. Takes more mental energy/timing but it's worked nicely for me in the past when I timed it just right (and it doesn't eliminate the conflict fully, obviously, but it helps being able to see "can't miss" songs or whatever).
