Honestly, it could’ve been a lot worse.

 

Holy fuck, that two hours of The Cure on Sunday.

 

I might actually transcend time and space in that set.

 

AFI and Finch crossover hurts me but otherwise nothing more than 5 minutes or so.

 

At least it's short. I can give up a few AFI songs for Finch. It's the Dresden Dolls and Finch overlap that hurts me.

This worked out about as good as I could've hoped for honestly

 

Was hoping for ICP to be in a late afternoon slot as opposed to closing out Rebel, but not surprised. As much fun as it would be, TPS wins out on that one. I was not expecting The Cure to be completely unopposed though. Since I caught them earlier this summer, was hoping to catch some other acts during part of their set, specifically Godspeed.

 

Fleshwater and B&C at basically the exact same time is brutal

 

I am mainly happy that Saturday I have sets from 2 to 8 and Sunday is 12:50 to 6. Friday is a full day so at least the next 2 would be easier. It also helps a lot that most of the sets are at the same stage (Radical).

 

friday isnt that bad for me. Bummed tegan and sara clash with turnstile, but im taking turnstile.
saturday is a bummer because pool kids are so early. they're like my top 3 the whole fest. kinda bummed ICP clash with TPS.
sunday is alright but the dresden dolls v finch sucks. at least ill have AFI to enjoy while camping for DD.

 

Overall schedule isn't bad

a question to experts here:
How reasonable it is to see Gaslight and then somehow get a decent spot for the Cure?

 

Since they play right up until 10 min before the cure goes on prolly not very. People who want good spots for the cure will prolly show up during afi or the Dresden dolls
