The Cure will be playing at least 2.5hrs at the festivals in LatinAmerica. So probs (or better say hopefully) Riot will have a similar set length
If I was at that game, I'd just go to that row and ask if anyone would sell their pass for $100. You just KNOW there's one old person that just likes the White Sox that'd be happy to unload it.
Finch is playing some WIITB shows around Riot. It would be odd if they dont play the album at Riot now
Didn't they say that the first few WIITB would be the only shows? Also, I'm going to see Finch for the 3rd time in 4 months in 2023. That is so crazy.
Bayside/Pinkshift was SUCH a fun show when I saw them in Delaware last year. Would love to see that again.
with the next stop after riot being 3 days later, really hoping this gets announced for an aftershow for Saturday or maybe even Sunday night.
Really enjoying the concept of the Riotfest tv feature on the app but it keeps glitching pretty hard. When I change a channel the audio from the previous channel keeps playing and they keep compounding over each other so after only 2 or 3 turns, it’s a mess, lol Edit - I’ve found it’s much better if you change channels by swiping rather than using the arrow buttons!
So my Thursday is looking really thin, any recommendations on good Thursday bands? Generally I love indie rock, singer songwriters, less into hardcore/emo/punk but if a band is great in those genres feel free to recommend. So far I only have Breeders, Funkadelic/Paraliment and Ani DiFranco for Thursday. Not a Foo Fighters fan. Other favorite acts in the festival for reference: The Cure, Gaslight, Death Cab for Cutie, Ride, Godspeed..., Dresden Dolls, QOTSA. (You can also recommend stuff from Fri/Sat you think I missed if you think I'll like it). Thanks!
i believe you have your days shifted by one, the fest runs Fri-Sun. Other acts I would suggest to you from Friday are screaming females, Olivia Jean, and yard act
Standing in line in the sun for Yellowcard, I don't think I've been to an outdoor concert since Riot Fest of last year. I am scared to find out how out of shape I am.
Tegan and Sara, Kim Gordon, The Wrecks, Braid, Oso Oso, and The Aquadolls are probably your best bets.
they might not be on the lineup this year (yet) but i have a feeling this thread will appreciate this: GWAR: Tiny Desk Concert
