My unlikely wish is a DCFC aftershow that's a regular set cus I also love the new album and want to see some stuff from that live, not just Transatlanticism (even though Transatlanticism will obviously be awesome)
Well I'm to blame for Goldfinger.. BUT THERE WAS GOLD ON HER NAIL, THATS PART OF A FINGER.. I guess when it's too obvious, I'm stupid TBS can't get added until after their July show - Gwar has a Chicago area show, they'll be added after that the Cure show at United Center is sold out and outside of the 90/90 clause
Also the billing is so strange. Tegan and Sara are in the top 10? Say Anything getting prominent billing, but Ride is buried in the middle? Also always consistently shocked at how Thursday and Warpaint keep falling lower and lower on festival lineups over the years.
Demand for Thursday is slowly disappearing. They’ve toured tons since they’ve got back together and usually only do Full Collapse and/or War All The Time album plays. No new music hasn’t really helped either. Not to mention that now, more often than not, they have fill-in members playing with them. I’m honestly surprised they’re still going.
Thursday used to be one of my favorite bands and I've seen all that I want to see from them for now. There won't be any new songs in the setlist (outside of Texas is the Reason covers apparently) and no new music on the horizon so I'll check out other bands until I get the itch again
I know this prolly won’t happen since riot doesn’t do what lolla does for after shows but I would love a Foo fighters metro aftershow on Thursday!
The big ones I was able to find: Friday: Tegan & Sara, PUP, Ani DiFranco, Hawthorne Heights, Oso Oso, Origami Angel Saturday: Sleep Token, Quicksand, Bowling for Soup, Warpaint Sunday: Finch
Gaslight, Bronx & Flogging Molly are all Sunday (they have Friday & Saturday dates) the Breeders are touring with the Foo Fighters, so safely assuming they play Friday
