How??? They did say it would be limited quantities

 

Anyone have any idea how quickly they sell out of VIP typically when the regular sale goes on?

 

lol how so? I had no issues and you can't really expect a large quantity of tickets available when the pre-sale is only 13 hours before the general on-sale.

 

it went from 179 to 224 in like 2 minutes.. I never had issues with Riot in the past like this

 

Since they sold out, release the line up now cowards!

 

I'm not sure they've ever sold out of VIP tickets. I think last year was the first year since moving outdoors that they even sold out of 3-day GA passess. Not saying it's out of the question, but if it happens it won't be immediately.

 

That might make the exclusive Q101 interview tomorrow morning a tad awkard lol

 

They had presale tickets for 2022 available for 3 years, but sold out 2023 in 30 minutes.. WONKY

I have a BA degree in marketing, I was nominated for student of the year when I graduated (not sure how to be honest), I've worked with every single type of person that exists..

In other news, Fest looks like it might sell out all 3 day tickets in one day.

 

It was actually 2021 tickets and you could roll your 2021 tickets over to 2022 when the 2021 lineup and tickets were announced

 

Whatever I got tickets.. I've been drinking.. my electricity went out.. I'll have a good time.. it's still wonky

 

The one thing that is bullshit is they are charging you a fee for using a credit card and if you did layaway a fee for that as well

Not even Ticketmaster charges you a credit card fee

 

Can't say I'm surprised. I think this year is the strongest lineup they've had since I became aware of them 5 or 6 years ago. If it was an outdoor fest and not in FL, I probably would have gone this year.

 

That is definitely some bullshit. I wonder why they changed from Eventbrite (not that they even offered layaway).

 

second market GA tickets will be under 200 near Riot, but I'm traveling from Louisiana.. I'm not booking flights and hotel on a maybe so I paid what I paid.. it's still wonky.. 7 years of Riot this is new to me.. it is what it is, at least Lagunatis reopened

 

Looks like I got the original VIP pricing: 3-day for $357. anyone know what they went up to before selling out?

Par for the fucking course when this is the only festival I’m aware of that charges a card fee on-site for any purchases through their POS. I went straight cash last year.

Probably got a cheaper deal with this new platform. Eventbrite ain’t cheap.

 

This is what I’ll do this year. I’m not buying single days, either, knowing there’ll be some cheap tickets available later.

 

*grinding teeth because I promised myself I wouldn't go to Riot Fest this year because I hated going last year but Modern Baseball and Aqua are heavily rumored*

 

Can’t help but feel you’re all going to be let down by there being no Modern Baseball.

 

Literally Slaughter Beach, Dog are recording a new album this year and Modern Baseball have shown no signs of reuniting lol
