If I didn't have aggressive social anxiety that has really ramped up post-pandemic, I'd ask Eve 6 and We Are the Union tomorrow night if they might be playing.
This feels targeted toward me. And Reddit. And this sub. I feel like I need to print it off and hang it on my wall by my laptop as a reminder.
Try this, randomly yell "Hey Max.. I'm reddit... Riot Fest?" They have sporadic moments on twitter every few days, I wouldn't take heed to much of it until there is new updates to the site or actual lineup clues I am still leaning towards May 18 More reddit and twitter.. this forum is relatively sane for the internets, I've admittedly had bad takes but I just went to reddit and someone was talking about Trapt at Riot and I legit have no idea if it was a joke.
Oh, definitely wasn't try to imply on tomorrow or anything. Just that they've been more talkative today.
Maybe! Their touring is so sporadic at this point, though, that it makes predicting their presence on a festival like this pretty challenging based on tour dates. Haha. Like, that's one weekend per month. Could easily be on the bill. Could also very easily not be on the bill. Hah.
the Hold Steady are so much better in a club/bar than at a festival, but since they haven't played here in forever.. I'd take them at Riot
They were trolling a good bit in April, nothing really new... I'm just gonna stick with SOON (.. hopefully)
HOB is charging different prices for pit and balcony, is that normal? $55+fees for pit, $40+fees for balcony. Fuck I hate HOB so fucking much.
Not necessarily. This is par for the course. And given how hard they're pressing on the "same time as usual" sentiment... Mid-to-late May is when it'll drop. It won't be this week but it could very well be next week. The following week (week of the 18th) feels way more likely.
I feel like when you get to the point where you are like "okay, this is way too much trolling where is the damn lineup" is when the lineup will probably drop. I don't think we are there yet.
Has anybody mentioned 7 Seconds yet? They're doing a pretty extensive tour with the Circle Jerks that ends in TX in September. I'd imagine they'd probably want a bit of a break following that, and considering that they hit Chicago with the Circle Jerks in March, but... They went from not being a band to deciding to give it a go with some semi-regular touring so Riot would make sense for a post-tour one off. Would be a great mid-day main Radical/Rise or closer for Rebel act.
