No Chicago on the Dikembe summer tour, plus they have Tweeted about really wanting to play Riot in the past
Makes sense, they'd definitely be a last line type of band though I'd assume? also the Fest has their appearance this year as an Exclusive Florida show (probably just an error, but MIGHT want to fix that lol)
Probably not last line. But maybe like, 2nd or 3rd line up from the bottom? I'm not entirely sure how popular or not this band is. I know they had a good buzz going a while back but I don't know that it ever really happened for them. These venues are relatively small... But they definitely have solid name recognition from a punk-leaning festival perspective.
They played a 150-cap room in Chicago in December (and were co-headlining with Signals Midwest). They're a solidly middle of the day on the Rebel Stage band, but they'll for sure put on a fun show.
Hah! That lines up with my poster placement. Yeah, mid-day Rebel or first on Radical/Rise feels about right.
This might be a stupid question, but is ABBA still/was ever a possibility? I know it was mostly a joke last year with the petition, but what if...?
I mean, I doubt it was ever a serious possibility without this... ...But Abba is doing a UK residency until at least December of this year.
Here's a question for y'all: Would you watch an ABBA hologram over the actual Misfits or My Chemical Romance? Is there any hologram act you'd watch over an actual band playing real songs?
I would rather see a really good tribute band than a hologram of any artist. There’s actually an ABBA tribute band playing near my house in a couple weeks that is apparently very good.
These are from Inforoo, obviously nothing is confirmed until the lineup is out but just two posts I saw
Just realized that Pedro The Lion is playing Chicago tonight. Since the lineup hasn’t been announced yet, I’m thinking now they’re a possibility of playing
